Le Duc de Praslin extension of 20 new modern deluxe rooms at 55 m2 each, with a new state of the art rooftop gym, architectural swimming pool & luxurious Spa Le Duc de Praslin Hotel & Villas has started an extension project adjacent to the hotel on the grounds of the old standard rooms at the far northern end of the property. The project is expected to take 10 months to complete with an opening date set for September 2019. The operation of the hotel will not be affected and guests will be able to benefit from all the hotel’s existing facilities. The new extension which is a very stylish and swanky design consisting of 20 deluxe rooms, a state of the art rooftop gym, luxurious Spa and architectural swimming pool, will bring Le Duc de Praslin to another level. The rooms will be very modern and functional, located just a few steps away from the beach.

The fabulous Cote d’Or Beach is the location of Le Duc de Praslin Hotel and its sister establishment, Cafe des Arts, 2 kilometers of perfect white sand, lapped by calm shallow waters- ideal for children! The hotel provides free sunbeds so you can always find shade under the palms to relax, read a book or just dream...

Cote d’Or Beach is also perfect for exercise, an early morning jog as the sun comes up is a magical experience, also an ideal time and place to sit and meditate or practice yoga.

There are 2 good dive centres close by, from where you can explore the stunning ocean world of corals and exotic fish. A selection of day trips by boat are available from this beach so you can explore nearby uninhabited islands abundant with secluded coves, for a beach BBQ, some fishing, or just a romantic hideaway...

Magna pool

This is the first MagnaPool in Seychelles, a spa therapy pool which uses a patented blend of natural ocean minerals to give a natural and superior water quality. It is a unique Pool system designed around saving water with a focus on health, beauty and environment.  The Magnesium and Potassium used are known to be gentle on sensitive skin helping to detoxify the skin and body of impurities ultimately leaving your skin feeling soft, radiant and smooth. It can also aid in the reduction of stress, anxiety, aches and pains. With a Magna Pool You will see the difference, feel the difference and experience the difference every time you take a dip.

Le Duc de Praslin focuses more on families with older children or teenagers. Children under 7 can only be accommodated on request and there is a charge for adding a baby cot to the room.

However, if you already have older children, you can enjoy spacious accommodation in the One Bedroom Family Room and Two Bedroom Family Suite. We recommend large families to book some of the villas with pool.

The hotel does not have a special children's corner, but the beach is mild, safe and suitable for less experienced swimmers.
