The resort is located on an 800 m stretch of remarkably beautiful beach on the exclusive south-end of Mahé. As it is the only resort in the bay, the area receives very few outside visitors, and our guests are able to relax and enjoy their time on the beach in relative seclusion. Sun loungers are discreetly positioned between palm trees along the length of the beach, creating a remarkable sense of privacy.

Despite being positioned on a beautifully landscaped 64-hectare property, the resort has been laid out in such a way that guests are never very far away from the water. Unlike many other hotels in the Seychelles, our guests do not have to rely on a buggy service to reach the beach or pool, and can easily walk the short distance between their room and the ocean.

At Café Lazare ​you can enjoy your daily breakfast buffet or changing buffet themes during dinner. At Windsong Beach Restaurant you can enjoy a beachside lunch or al fresco dinner. We highly recommend you to try one of our most popular signature dishes here - the Hot Stone Steak. In order to while away your evening, Planters Bar and Lounge awaits you with live music, delicious cocktails and a selection of tapas and sushi.

Hiking and nature walks 

The extensive grounds and tropical gardens are really something that sets us apart from other hotels on the island: nestled in the foothills of a magnificent mountain range, and surrounded by our very own private lagoon, our guests are able to immerse themselves in Seychelles' natural splendor while enjoying a peaceful seclusion that is unique to our property.

One of the most unique and popular features of our hotel is the mountain directly behind Kempinski The Spa. Affectionately named, "Mount Kempinski", this immense granite elevation offers our guests both spectacular views from the summit and an opportunity to enjoy Seychelles' indigenous vegetation and dense tropical jungle during their ascent. The trail to the summit can be easily reached by requesting a complimentary transfer from the front desk. Depending on your fitness level, the gentle hike to the top of the mountain takes around 20 minutes.

Play, train or simply stay active. Fitness enthusiasts who wish to stay active, can do so in our air-conditioned fitness centre, open 24 hours a day. Sweat and burn off calories with our top-of-the-line cardio and power equipment from TechnoGym.

An extensive schedule of leisure activities and fitness classes has been developed by our qualified recreation team, with your complete wellness in mind. Guests are invited to participate in early-morning yoga or Pilates classes or focused resistance training, or to splash about in one of our fun-filled aqua aerobics classes. Each evening, our "boys in blue" from the beach challenge our guests to a friendly, yet competitive game of beach volleyball or soccer - it is a great opportunity to meet some of the other guests at the hotel!

Swimming Pool 

Olympic-length swimming pool is the perfect place to relax and watch the day go by. With convenient direct access to our beach area, you will be convinced not to leave anytime soon.
