The Carana Beach Hotel ****

Our chalets have been designed to accentuate the wild, dramatic landscape on which the hotel is built.
The hushed greys and soft earth tones of the interiors provide a stark but soothing contrast to the view that spills out onto the entire bay from each chalet: the fluorescent blues and greens of the sea, the lush hillside and a white-sand beach framed by granite pillars. Each chalet boasts modern comforts with elegantly rustic touches inspired by the sea: everything in it, and all that it takes, perfects and gives back from aged driftwood to polished corals.

Named after the uninterrupted ocean panorama seen from its elevated perch, Lorizon, which means “horizon” in Creole, is open daily for breakfast from 7:00-10:00 and for dinner from 19:00 – 21:30. An ideal setting to enjoy a spectacular view paired with equally refined cuisine for a traditional, elegant dinner. Themed evenings are also available throughout the week such as Creole Night, BBQ on the terrace and Asian night. Our culinary team stakes its pride as recipients of the World Luxury Restaurant Awards whereby Lorizon boasts inventive dishes with unusual combinations to surprise, delight and challenge each palate.

Let the true sensations of Seychelles sweep across mind and body with our line-up of soothing treatments using only natural locally sourced ingredients. Whether you prefer your treatment in the spa or from the comfort of your own chalet on the deck, an unmistakably different spa experience awaits. All of our scrubs, masks and wraps start from a base of cold-pressed virgin coconut oil, produced right here in the Seychelles. We then add a wide range of locally cultivated herbs, spices and extracts for each product: from cinnamon and vanilla to indigenous lemon and eucalyptus. This allows each treatment to be imparted with a unique signature scent native to our islands, complemented by carefully selected pairings of essential oils.
